Strikes disrupt travel

France

Update - Train strike planned 23rd - 25th September

SNCF has announced a strike which will impact certain train services between the 23rd - 25th September resulting in either partial or total cancellation.

If you have been effected by any of these changes or cancellations please contact the Rome2rio customer support team here.

Due to protests currently taking place around France, transport strikes may occur at very short notice. These strikes have the potential to severely impact the French rail system, including SNCF trains and international routes.

As soon as we become aware of any upcoming strikes, all confirmed bookings through Rome2rio will receive a notification by email or SMS advising of potential delays and cancellations to your services. Unfortunately, since the strikes are often last minute, we don’t always know when and where they’re going to take place. If you are concerned about potential delays or cancellations, you can use the following links to see if your route will be affected.

SNCF: Check my Booking:  Enter your origin and destination and then match up your departure time with the listed times that appear. Any cancellations or disruptions to that specific trip will be clearly visible.

Rome2rio customers who were not able to use their train tickets due to a cancelled service can contact us here to apply for a refund.
