Why don’t I get any results when searching for tickets?

When conducting a search, you may see the following error message:

This means that the transport operator for the route hasn’t opened tickets up for sale yet. We recommend waiting until your travel dates are closer before completing your booking. 

Train operators can open tickets sales anywhere between 2-6 months before the date of travel. Bus operators will allow tickets to be purchased up to a year in advance (however this can change, depending on the route and operator).

If you receive the below error message, it means that Rome2rio does not currently sell tickets for that specific transport operator. 

If you are searching for a route which we don't currently sell tickets for we will always provide a direct link to the operators website which can be used to make a booking directly with them. This can be seen in the video below.
